Intermediate 

The pottery shown here was made right before I studied abroad.  I was on campus for 7 weeks prior to our trip studying the culture, literature, history, and music of Northern Ireland and South Africa. I learned about the conflict these countries faced as well and how they handled it.  

I was determined to master the wheel this year.  I experimented quite a bit with bowl shapes, found how thin I can pull the clay and enjoyed learning how to make lidded jars.
