Creating is personal and therapeutic to me. My recent work includes mostly functional pottery. I love being able to create a piece of art that someone can utilize and connect with.
Living with Meniere's disease is reflected in most of my artwork. Coping with imbalance has had a huge impact on my work. I have learned to embrace imperfection and find beauty in the frays and flaws in the world around us.
I find most of the inspiration for my art from my walks in nature. When I'm not exploring, I like working around other people who inspire and motivate me to uniquely create.
